I picked up the Oriflame The ONE BB Cream and thought of testing it out. Oriflame has some really good skincare and makeup and I have liked quite a few of them which made me go for this out and see how well it works on me.Oriflame The ONE BB Cream SPF 30 Light Review Photos Price

Packaging: The Oriflame The ONE BB Cream comes in a white plastic 30ml tube with a same coloured cap. It comes secured in a cardboard outer packaging. The tube is small and easy to carry around. It has a tiny nozzle from which the product can be dispensed, and I can control the amount of product I wish to use. It isn’t much fancy but looks cute.

Shades: The BB cream comes in 2 different shades: light and medium. I picked up the shade light thinking it would suit me, but I guess I should have gone for the medium shade. Since there are only 2 shades available, I feel the product isn’t much inclusive. But since it is a BB cream and not a foundation, I can’t comment much on the shades.

Light shade is way too light for my skin tone and I should have picked the other one. It makes my face look too ashy. However, I try to work with it by mixing a darker shade of foundation and mix them both. This shade is suitable for very fair skin tones and not for people with medium to deeper skin tones.

Finish: The finish of the BB cream is much on the dewy side, which I personally like since I am from the dry skin family. It evens out my skin and gives a subtle glow which I usually prefer. It does even out my skin tone when I use it along with a few drops of the darker shade of foundation and keeps my skin hydrated. I’m happy that it comes with SPF 30, so sometimes I skip wearing a sunscreen underneath my makeup. Since it offers a dewy finish, I like wearing it on daily basis.

Coverage: This BB cream provides a sheer to medium coverage that can be easily built. I generally don’t prefer layering my BB or CC creams and go with only one layer. This BB cream gives a natural finish to my skin and that’s what I like about them.

Lasting power: The Oriflame The ONE BB Cream lasts for good 3-4 hours without me having to set it with a powder, which is good enough. It doesn’t take much time to settle on my skin too and doesn’t budge for a long time.

Overall thoughts:

This BB cream, especially in the lighter shade is not suitable for my skin tone and I feel I should have picked the other shade. But if you have a fairer skin tone and looking for a good BB cream, you can consider this one.

Also, I feel that it is a bit overly priced and should have been priced a little lesser. It is good for an everyday makeup look or when you don’t want to wear heavy foundations. I am not sure if I would go for the darker shade in this one because there are many affordable options out there other than this.
