Nivea MicellAIR Micellar Water | British Beauty Blogger

[affiliatelink] I picked this up at my local pound shop – so, er it cost, one pound! I like micellar cleansers so it just seemed too good to leave on the shelf. I know I’ve featured some really expensive cleansers lately, but this proves that you can cleanse perfectly nicely without having to shell out.

Nivea MicellAIR Micellar Water

As you can see from the label, it’s for sensitive skin so contains no fragrance, although it’s really a mix of caster oil and grape seed oil with added general and usual chemicals (sorbitol, decyl glucoside, disodum cocoyl glutamate..and so on – nothing unusual or out of place in a high street micellar blend). In texture, it feels slightly more oily than other micellar waters I’ve tried, but on the other hand, it cut through my (light) make up well without leaving any trace of either product or foundation, so I don’t have anything to complain about. If someone told me it was £6-7 or slightly more, I’d completely believe it (if you don’t have a pound shop to raid near you, Boots charges £1.99 for the same product which I still think is extremely reasonable!). I’m not a cleansing purist – some days, you don’t need to be buried up to your elbows in balms and flannels and a quick swipe about will do instead – this little £1 find is perfect for those days when you. just. can’t. be. bothered :-).
