Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser

[productsampleaffiliate] I love testing cleansers – it’s just so clear cut whether they’re doing the job well or not and to be fair, it’s rare for me to come across one that doesn’t work well. The USP on this one is that it’s moisturising, so ideal for drier skin or anyone who doesn’t like that stripped feeling.

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser

This is everything you’d hope for from a moisturising cleanser – it’s properly creamy; a bit like a whipped cold cream I’d say, so it feels absolutely lovely on the complexion. It’s easy to work around your face and somehow leaves skin feeling clean and moisturised at the same time.

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturising Cleanser

I’ve used it several times now and learned that if I take it off with a damp flannel, gently, the moisture feeling remains, but if I really ‘scrub’ at it and rinse lots of times, it doesn’t. So, don’t be too vigorous in your take-off. The formula contains milk proteins and lactic acid from the goat milk (got to confess I worry about the goats a bit – I mean, are they milked like cows? I just don’t know) as well as manuka honey, jojoba and avocado oils. It also feels very gentle on the skin – personally it’s difficult to recommend for sensitive skins as I don’t have it, but this is often recommended for that type. It definitely removed make-up although I didn’t use it on my eyes and although I don’t think it’s necessary unless you have a full face on, you can use it as a double cleanse by going round again.

There are offers on if you order from the Kate Somerville UK website HERE non aff HERE – 15% off if you sign up, free postage and three free samples which takes some of the sting of £32 out of the price tag.
